Create a timer

How can I delete the current timer?

  1. Click on the time tracking icon located at the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Click on “Delete”. The timer will be deleted, including all the related information (client, hourly rate, time worked, taxes, etc.)

How can I start the timer?

There are two ways to start a timer:

First Method : In a create an element section:

  1. In the calendar, click on the date you want to add a new time entry.
  2. Make sure you have selected the time option as a new entry. The options are located at the top of the entry page.
  3. Fill the client and the invoicing information.

  4. Click on “Start timer”.
  5. A timer will start with the information you filled.
  6. Once you work is done, click on “Finish”. The timer will then stop and a new time entry with all the timer information will be created in the Time tab and in the Calendar.

Second Method: From the Time section:

  1. In the Time section, click on “Start timer”.

  2. A timer will start.
  3. Once your work is done, complete the information regarding your customer and the hourly rate.
  4. Click on “Finish”. The timer will then stop and a new time entry with all the timer information will be created in the Time tab and in the Calendar.

How can I repeat a time entry?

  1. In the calendar, click on the time entry.

  2. The information regarding the time entry will appear. 
  3. Activate the “Repeat this element” button. 
  4. Fill the necessary information. Click on “Update”.

 

How can I set the hourly rate?

  • There are two ways to set the hourly rate.

First Method : In a create an element section.

  1. In the calendar, click on the time entry.
  2. The information regarding the time entry will appear.

  3. Modify the value in the hourly rate section.
  4. Click on “Update”.
  5. The total amount will automatically be updated.

 

Second Method: During the creation of an invoice item:

  1. Click on the settings icon located on the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Then click on “Invoices”.
  3. Select the “Invoice items” section.
  4. Click on “Create an invoice item”.
  5. Choose the Time category.

  6. Fill the name, price, and the description of the element.
  7. It is also possible to set up a customized rate for a specific customer.
  8. Click on “Create”.
